My husband and our 2 dogs had the pleasure to stay at Mosteirinho for 8 nights. And what a great time we had. At first, we were only looking for a cozy pet-friendly hotel to disconnect and spend quality time together while searching for land near Bragança and doing puzzles in the evening. Yep, we're simple folks, and this place is perfect for like-minded people. It's fair to say that Mosteirinho has exceeded our expectations. The hotel is impressive, and we could not have dreamt of a better stay. It's a utopic place. There things to discover in every corner of the property, from the spring, the bunnies, chickens to the fish pond. The lush hills surrounding this little heaven have much to offer too. So it's ideal for walking the dogs. There's always a new trail to walk, a fresh sent to discover, and new berries to taste. The cabins are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It's true what the website says "time doesn't fly. It floats by in the silent breeze of the mountain." Mosteirinho filled us with serenity and in a certain way. It healed our souls too. But more importantly, Henrique is a stellar host. He's not only welcome us to his hillside heaven, but he's open up his heart and home for us. We are definitely going back, and not because the hotel is conveniently located near Bragança, and there excellent mum and pop restaurants within short driving distance (say hi to Olga for us). But we'll go back because we fell in love with Henrique, Ninho, Mosteirinho, and the folks of Negreda. Forever grateful for your immeasurable kindness Henrique. You've provided more than a comfortable stay. Thanks to you we found a new home. We miss you so much already! See you soon!! Dan, Sindy, Gruff, and Mason

The best place we visited in Potrigal. The house is amazing, you have all you can wish for. The warmest welcome, fruit and vegetables, refrigerator full with goodies. Very clean, games for the kids. Kitchen with everything. The village is beautiful in the middle of the woods. Clean and the best air to breathe. We love it so much that I wish we could have a summer house there. The best host. thank you.

A very spacious and well organized property with all the modern age comforts, with a working fireplace giving it a special touch in the colder evenings of September. A lovely greeting by Susana with fire roaring and welcome gift basket offering local fruits and homemade jams and bread made by our host’s mother made for a cozy welcome. We must mention that a bottle of Ginjinha also made by Susana’s mother was a super surprise. The neighbours Teresa and Américo and their dog Zita were very lovable. Jacquie and I love to read to each other and the varanda offered that venue in the open air. Overall a recommendable experience absolute.

What a fabulous place! Perfect to rest. Relax next to the house, in the shadow under oak trees, with olive trees and beautiful plants, and surrounded by a vineyard and fruit trees. Great BBQ and outside fire oven. Football field next to the house. The host is wonderful, we got some fresh products of their own produce as present!
