We stayed in No. 10 and we thought it was even nicer than in the pictures! It was very clean, bright and spacious for two people. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Contact with the host was also very easy and we felt well informed about the check in process. We would definitely stay here again.

We vacationed with a group of friends in this wonderful house (was warm inside, this is important!) The location is incredible, the view of the mountains, you can go for a walk in the forest. Even in the rain it is beautiful there. The house is authentic, it feels like it has a history. Very friendly owner of the house, cooked us a big delicious breakfast! I highly recommend this place

It was spacious , clean and warm. The views were fantastic and our dog loved the very well enclosed gardens and vineyard. We are touring Europe and staying in lots of properties and this is definitely our favourite so far. It was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed some of the lovely walks in the Douro.

The house is a vey cosy fully equipped annexe, close to the main house and the pool, comfortable, light, and spacious for two people, with a lovely terrace and all the commodities. We were very warmly welcomed by the owner and the view is amazing! The location requires taking the car to go sightseeing or shopping for groceries and such, but that is not a problem, actually it’s the normal thing around here if you’re looking for a quiet place to rest. Totally recommend!

It is a nice house in a spectacular location, which functions more like a home stay, by providing many things found in a holiday home. It has all the trappings of a home, but if you want a modern fresh, well-appointed apartment this it is not. As mentioned by others there are personal items around that make it homely but also cluttered. Heating system works well for cooler nights, but no aircon for the mid-summer heat.

We arrived at the start of harvest, and were warmly welcomed by Guilherme and his wife. Our three nights at Quinta das Murtinheiras could not have been better for feeling part of the Douro region. After day trips to various wineries in the region, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of wine on the porch overlooking the vineyards and the Douro River. The 2-story apartment was extremely clean and attractive, with amazing views from every window. The kitchen was well-equipped and we even grilled fresh Dourada on the indoor BBQ. It is a special property.
