Everything! The house is a good size for family of 4. The design is typical traditional dutch house, but the house is new & modern. Complete kitchen appliances that are modern, fully stocked cooking seasoning. Bathroom also modern. Living room is very cozy, ducks swim on the front canal, they even come up to the window- so cute! Although the house is near the main road, but it is not noisy at all. In the morning we can hear nature sounds, different kinds of birds- very serene and beautiful! There’s swings & trampoline on the garden, my toddler cant get enough playing there :) The pictures don’t do justice, in reality the house and surroundings are much much more beautiful than they show on the pictures. Dick & Anette owns boat that we can rent to go on the canals along the city, very convenient so we didnt need to go far looking for boat rent. They are also very warm, kind & informative. Our stay was very enjoyable & comfortable! I sincerely regret we did not stay few days more

Well equipped kitchen, and lots of games and dvds etc for a cozy evening at home. Location was very good and the cottage was easy to find too, and just an easy walk from the centre area, restaurants etc. Highly recommended.

This lodge is such a treat! It was so beautifully-decorated. Literally, in every corner you will find a unique painting or a surprising piece! The lodge was so spotless and comfortable. The owners, May and Bret, were wonderful and so full of information when we needed. Bret rented us their boat for a full day and it was wonderful ride. Mary brought us eggs fresh from her garden! The kitchen is fully-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the seating in the garden was great. We even enjoyed lighting a fire in the old fashioned fireplace!

There is a car entrance gate to the resort that opens through Remote Control located in the chalet, far from the village centre, but it can be reached by walking along a beautiful water channel. There is a boat rental shop adjacent to the resort. Its prices are high, and I would like to rent a boat with the chalet, especially since the boat rental centres in Gethorne close early (6 p.m.), also we were happy for a while because there were two chalet bikes, but unfortunately they were locked and not available for use.
