As soon as we got out of the car, we fell under the spell of Sillico. we were even more excited when we saw the hotel. A place of total peace’ calmness and just bird sounds. the hotel is very nice and clean. the Hotel owners are very friendly and welcoming. Glad we were there!

The location for us was vitally important to explore the Garfagniana area. Road up to the Pallezzeto was a little hair raising and had to be taken carefully but once there the views were spectacular. The house I grant you is a little old fashioned and simple but this added to its charm. It was fully equipped for 6 people with plenty of cups plates etc if you want to eat in. But the restaurants in the area are in abundance. The hot tub was fun also. I must say if your looking for 5 star luxury this is not for you. If your looking for typical rustic Garfagniana CHARM then this is a must. The hosts Paolo and Marie Christana were fantastic they met us and supplied plenty of local info on the area which was updated the second week together with a linen and towel change. Would I book this house ABSOLUTELY.
