The location was fabulous with absolutely stunning views of the surrounding town and mountains. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Paul and Maraika were incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. We arrived to fresh fruit, snacks, Prosecco and beer in the fridge and everything we could possibly need for our stay. Paul has thought to all of the little details and this is what really makes Casa Luna stand out. Would highly recommend Casa Luna- we will definitely be returning!

Il Trebbio is located on a beautiful hill slope near Albiano village overlooking the medeaval town of Barga. The views of the valley and the mountains are breathtaking. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful except for the occasional honking of drivers who drive through narrow winding roads with many blind bends to the village below. Driving up the hills and navigating narrow roads to the house could be challenging to even a seasoned driver but once you get to the house and experience the scenery you feel that it is worth the trouble. In the mornings there were many spiecies of beutiful birds in the yard. The house was nice, clean, and relatively warm since the pellet stove was turned on before we arrived, which we appreciated. Most of the information regarding the property (disposal of garbage, pellet stove workings, etc) we received from the owner's father who came every day to check on us and helped us with our questions. He also cleaned the pellet stove daily, refilled it for us, and turned it on when we were not home. We truly appreciated his help and loved talking to him about the area.
