Merlin barn was amazing!! Middle of nowhere, so peaceful and views to die for. We stayed with our 3 children who loved seeing the chickens pecking about every morning and had lots of fun in the games room. Everything was clean and all the facilities you would need. Beds were comfy and the barn was very cosy. Not too far from brecon beacons and plenty to explore there. Very tranquil, peaceful place for a relaxing getaway.

Our room was big, very clean and really cosy, perfect after a long trek over the beacons! Nice big bath, enormous bed, perfect temperature and all the normal facilities including some extra delicious treats! We loved the breakfast, the general atmosphere and how helpful Mark and Karen were throughout our stay. Free parking was directly behind the property so no long walk with heavy bags!

The loft is wonderfully quirky and Gill has thought of everything you might need to be comfortable and cosy. Be aware there is nothing around the property (which significantly adds to its appeal in my opinion) but the Co-Op in Llandovery is huge and has plenty of choice for eating in. The kitchen is more than ample to cook full meals. Super comfy bed and a bathroom full of the nicest smelling toiletries I've ever had in a holiday cottage !!
