The cottage is nice and spacious. The sleeping area is very good, beds are comfortable, both bathrooms good and clean, one has a tub the other has a shower, to meet every necessity. The dining area is large, you can also rest in the garden in front of the cottage, garden furnitures are available. The kitchen is ok, but very minimal. You can join the pool and the other village offers, everything is included in the cottage rental fee. We had dinner at the O'Garden restaurant, which is nice and offers a good variety of food. the staff of the central reception and the restaurant are very kind and helpful. There is also a small but good shop where you can buy really everything you need. The water park is huge and fitted for every taste. The cottages are located inside the wood, so the feeling is to be in a really natural environment, not a cultivated garden. very nice location. If you want to eat outside, you need to reach the nearest village at around 3-4 km by car.

I visited the region in deep autumn day. The afternoon sunshine gives a golden living room, it's just perfect. The warm swimming pool was also very good, my kid adored it. The Halloween activities were also interesting.

Helene and Lucie have been great to communicate with, and very accommodating. The house was exactly what we were looking for, a typical "maison normande" surrounded by nature and animals, and in a quiet environment. The house is also only 15 minutes by the sea, which is very convenient.

I have never stayed in a property like Gite Les Vignettes before. On booking I was unaware that we had to provide our own bedding and towels. When I received an email reminding me to bring our own sheets and towels I immediately emailed the owner explaining the we were 4 pensioners with one dog on a six week tour of France and Spain. I asked for beds to be made up and towels to be provided. I was informed that the cost for each bed would be and additional €10. I stated that this was ok but once again requested that we needed towels. On arrival there was no-one to meet us. I messaged the owner. I received no reply. After 40 minutes walking around the property my friend pushed a window and discovered it was open. We eventually managed to get my friend in through the window and discovered that the keys were on the inside of the main door. We then accessed the property. The owner arrived about 30 minutes later. She spoke no English. The house was tired, dirty and we did not receive one towel therefore were unable to shower the next morning. I have been using booking.com for many years. This its positively the worst property I have ever stayed in. It is disgusting!!! It may look impressive from the outside but avoid it like the plague!!!!! NEVER AGAIN. Totally overpriced and not fit for purpose!

The view on from all parts of the house is on the pond. No neighbours around, the host lives around 100m far from the house. Very convinient for a group weekend.
