This was a very well appointed house which had been recently renovated to a very high standard. It had 3 floors with a roof terrace and balconies overlooking a square and a 16th century church. Superb location in a very interesting and picturesque town in Extramadura. The accommodation was well and helpfully hosted. Very fast internet. Excellent air conditioning. Dog friendly. Because the property was located in the Plaza San Francisco, parking was only possible to load and unload your car but there was adequate free parking elsewhere in Trujillo. Despite the central location there was no noise disturbance. Very good value. Highly recommend.

Pablo, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate us. He even made special arrangements so we could bring our car into the plaza on a Sunday so that my 81 yo old mother and her 80 year old friend didn't have to carry their bags to the parking area. The parking area isn't far, he just wanted everything to be extra easy for us. The apartment is cool, quiet and comfortable, is VERY CLEAN, and is in a great location! It is a few steps off of the main plaza, but we never heard any sounds coming from there. All of the ACs work perfectly and the kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could need to make meals and a great cup of tea or coffee. Pablo is very generous. Not only did he provide us with wonderful snacks, fruit, treats, wine, coffee and tea but he went above and beyond to answer my endless questions about the history of the building. As a Jew it was very important for me to know, understand and appreciate the history of the building. Pablo and his family have done amazing work to both honor the history and the Jewish people who once occupied Trujillo, and also to protect the remaining artifacts and prevent further appropriation or destruction. Because of Pablo and his family the memory of the Jewish people and their contributions to the area will continue to live and remain available to honor and learn from for generations to come.
