I can't say enough about how perfect a house this was. The communications with the host were fantastic, and the hosts were super flexible with timing. We were met at the property for both key dropoff and pickup. She could not have been nicer or more helpful, even providing a crib for our baby! The house and property are gorgeous. The location is great as it is walkable to a strip with groceries, wine, a bakery/cafe, etc. For the larger Chacras and Mendoza region, it is super conveniently located as well. It is 20 min to center city Mendoza and Maipu (olive oil, vineyards). Chacras itself is beautiful and has plenty of dining options. If you want to venture up Ruta 7 toward Aconcagua, the highway is very close. Looking at aerial imagery, I was worried about that proximity and noise, but it was not at all an issue (as it might be in the U.S. by a highway). In fact, this house was also nicer for being away from the noise and traffic of the main central roads (e.g., San Martin). It took at least an hour to drive to the Uco Valley vineyards, but I'm glad we didn't stay there, too. Internet was great. They have a Chromecast for the TV. Beds, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, and yard were also great. This house is a quiet oasis in a quiet, nice neighborhood. It has everything you need -- truly is a sweet spot!!
