This place made me on cloud nine due to its magneficient view. Haji Amina made everything perfect, she prepared an extremely delicious breakfast as well as she was very kind and her smile was the very cheerful. Not to forget, Mr. Hussain was extraodinarg helpful as he answered and offered help without any hesitations. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The only drawback is the house road path is quite steep ramp. Its better to ask Mr. Hussain for the location rather than google map. Overall, i would love to book this place again.

The owners were very lovely, friendly, helpful and goodness knows when they sleep because they run the Hotel, the grow all their own produce so everything is organic for guests’ lovely breakfasts which they cook themselves, they bake their own bread, bake their own cakes, make their own desserts and raise 2 young daughters. There is no lift but they have staff to assist with all baggage so you don’t need to haul them up yourselves. Our family room was spacious on the 3rd floor (up 49 stairs) with 2 balconies. The view is of the Black Sea and you cannot see Amasra from this room. The aircon worked very well as long as all doors and windows shut. The shower had plenty of power and hot water, woohooo I could wash my long hair. The big bed was comfortable and sheets were nice. There was a heavy blanket if you need as well but with a top sheet hubby didn’t need the blanket (I did, haa). Parking is directly out front with plenty of space. The Hotel is very easy to find being on one of the main roads leading into Amasra (about 1.5 - 2km out) and was nice to be out of the mayhem of traffic in Amasra. Parking in the Old Town itself can be challenging as well as the traffic, even in the ‘Otoparks’. Street parking is often policed by a parking person (looks like a random person but actually isn’t) so if you want to park on the street be mindful you will undoubtedly have to pay a person rather than a metre. We felt we could’ve stayed 3 nights rather than the 2 to relax after seeing all there is to see in the Bartin province. A wonderful stay.

Located in the centre of Safranbolu district, this authentic mansion is housed in a restored Ottoman building. It offers traditional rooms equipped with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Staff were so kind. Although we arrived the hotel early in the morning, the staff allowed us to do early check-in. After using a night bus, this is very thankful. The hotel was traditional structure in Safranbolu and very clean and cozy.
