Set in Ko Phayam, near Aow Yai Beach and Koh Payam, Tropical Hostel is a recently renovated property, featuring free WiFi, water sports facilities and open-air bath. It’s a magical place, I didn’t want to leave. So chilled, close to the beach and loads of great restaurants, cafes and shops. Ing and Om are both really helpful. FYI there is no cash point on the Island.

Boasting accommodation with a balcony, Rattana Bungalow Koh Chang is set in Koh Chang Ranong. Guests can benefit from a terrace and an outdoor fireplace. Very very remote! For what the amenities were, you couldn't ask for anything better. Simple. The hosts were amazing and caring. It was our fav stop so far. This isn't luxury if that's what your looking for. It's a step into real thailand. Simple life. Disconnected. We could have stayed a week!

Featuring mountain views, Sunnyvale Ranong 1 provides accommodation with free bikes and a terrace, around 2.4 km from Rattanarangsan Palace. For the price this place really exceeded our expectations. The room was detached so very quiet and the bed and bedding was all comfortable (nice to have 4 pillows!). Shower was powerful and hot and bathroom was very clean and modern. The large TV was a nice touch and also a bonus to have a hairdryer, toiletries, slippers and minibar which isn't always found in this price range.

Located in Ko Phayam, just 300 metres from Ao Khao Kwai South Beach, Rasta House, Koh Phayam provides beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The bungalows were clean and dark! The Beach next to the bungalows was for us the most beautiful on Ko Phayam.

Boasting a bar and views of garden, Barefoot Project formerly Baan Klong Kleng is a recently renovated guest house situated in Ko Phayam, a few steps from Ao Khao Kwai North Beach. Fabulous host and staff. Great atmosphere

Offering sea views, Lae Tawan Bungalow in Koh Chang Ranong offers accommodation and a shared lounge. Set on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a terrace, a bar and free WiFi. The beach is very quiet and the lady is very kind

Situated 1.1 km from Ao Khao Kwai North Beach, Eco Bungalow offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a bar. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The last bungalows (4-5-6) are close to the nature and far away from the motorbike noise. The food is very good. Late afternoon you can enjoy the feeding of hornbills. It is recommended to have an own motorbike.

Nalin Place is 100 metres from the city centre. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. The property is equipped with a tour desk and laundry service.

Boasting garden views, Dahla House Ranong features accommodation with balcony, around 700 metres from Rattanarangsan Palace. Centrally located,about 6km from the bus stn-blue or green shared/moto taxi available there-plenty of shops,restaurants etc.If you are going to the pier then flag a green taxi across the rd from DH,they are frequent. Staff friendly,polite etc and gave me plent of useful info.Bungalows are a good option-less noisy than a typical hotel. For me this was an excellent budget option,if I ever return to Ranong I would stay at the Dahla House again.

KohChangResortRanong ligger på en bortgjemt steinstrand i Ban Sin Hai, og har en restaurant og en pen hage. Perfect place in the jungle, between the trees. Simple bungalow, nothing fancy and that's exactly why I liked it. And so you know, this place has internet! I mean a real connection to the internet. We stayed in a couple of other places where they say they have internet but it was impossible to connect. So if you need it for work, this is your place.
