Room and bathroom were spotless clean, comfy mattresses, a shared equipped kitchen and common room. Thanks to an oven in the living room and AC in the bedroom it was even during cold winter days and nights pleasently warm. And thank you to Marcela - the extremely welcoming and friendly owner!

We came across this beautiful pension when we were looking for a place which is the closest to Serra da Estrela. The host gave us a warm welcome and our expectations were exceeded after arriving at this beautiful and lovely Quinta. Every detail about the interior in the entire pension made us feel cozy and welcoming there. We really enjoyed our stay there and the host was such a lovely and friendly local who really tries everything to make her guests feel like home. Every single morning she provided us with an enriched best breakfast buffet and the food was always fresh and clean. She didn't hesitate a single bit about being asked for anything and she even made the effort to store my birthday cake in her own fridge which we brought with us all the way to our destination. She even got out of her way to arrange with me and my fiancé a little birthday breakfast with our cake. We can't thank her enough for her support and help during our entire stay. We both really enjoyed our chats with her and we also appreciate her own recommendations about some places very much which turned out to be hidden local gems to us. We both really enjoyed our stay in that Quinta and we really highly recommend this place to anyone who plans a trip to Serra da Estrela.

Quinta do Quinto features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Porto da Carne. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The quinta is stunning and incredible value for money. They also offered the best breakfast we had on our Portugal trip. Staff are very friendly.

The kitchen and dining area was large and very clean, with a cozy wood fireplace. The rooms are big and clean, and comfy beds!

Nastanitev Casa D'Avenida je na novo obnovljena družinska hiša, ki se nahaja v središču Manteigasa, v naravnem parku Serra da Estrela. The room had a comfy bed and a nice little balcony with mountain view (due to very bad weather we couldn't use it, unfortunately). Downstairs there is a nice seating area with an oven which we used to get dry and warm up after some very rainy hikes. The guest house is located right at the little stream flowing through Manteigas, so restaurants and shops are right around the corner. (We recommend Infusao, just a couple of steps up the stream from the guest house.) The breakfast was amazing and very extensive, even when only us two were left at the hotel. Best thing: we could pack bread etc for lunch, tea and coffee were always available downstairs, as was the amazing home-made cake. We were looking forward to this after every hike.

Granitna stavba iz 19. stoletja se nahaja v naravnem parku Serra da Estrela in ponuja tradicionalne sobe z balkoni. Casa do Pastor nudi salon s kaminom in opremo za peko na žaru. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere was great. Lovely place to bring a pet, lots of animals and very well behaved.

Located at the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, in the town of Manteigas, this hotel offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. Free parking is possible on site. Very nice large room with balcony, quiet part of Manteigas but still close to centre. Nice and friendly staff, breakfast was simple but tasty
