On arrival he explained well about best places to visit on the island, gave guide and island map and suggested which best places to visit. You need to have a car to get around as it will be the most convenient. Free parking next to the building. Super satisfied with the stay.

Solar de Santo André er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Ponta Delgada, 12 km frá Pico do Carvao. Það býður upp á útisundlaug og sjávarútsýni. Gististaðurinn státar af sólarhringsmóttöku og sólarverönd.... highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Pico er í 12 km fjarlægð do Carvao, DMCharme býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum. Gistirýmið er með verönd og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Gistihúsið býður upp á borgarútsýni. Bed is comfortable. Private bathroom is huge. The host is very attentive and helpful. Daniel helped me with taxi when I was in the middle of the island.

CITY STONE HOUSE í Ponta Delgada er gistirými sem er aðeins fyrir fullorðna. Boðið er upp á garð, grillaðstöðu og sameiginlega setustofu. City stone house it's just Amazing ! What a great place to stay with everything you need for a short or long stay. The kitchen it's super equiped and spacious! The room very clean, spacious and well decorated ! From the apartment to city center it's less then 10 min walk! Now the most important to me .. The Host Emanuel it's such a great guy , always willing to help and with a lot of attention to detail like giving us a lot of tips to make our stay in Sao Miguel even better !

Gististaðurinn er í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá Praia do Corpo Santo og 600 metra frá Praia da Vinha da Areia í Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Everything was great! I highly recommend that place for a holiday. Quiet, comfortable, everything you need.

Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

The entire stay was an experience, from the warm welcome, the good breakfast, the lovely company and discussions with Rodrigo and the extremely soon and sad leave.

On our first day, we went in early to drop our bags. The hosts offered us breakfast and said we could wait until our checkout time in the lounge area. They were the kindest people. They even told us about the attractions we should visit and the best routes to get there. Were above and beyond our expectations.

CC Guest House Ao Mercado er gistiheimili sem er staðsett í sögulegri byggingu í Ponta Delgada, 13 km frá Pico do Carvao. Það er garður og útsýni yfir garðinn. Gistirýmið er með borgarútsýni og... The location is central Punta Delgada. Conveniently it is across the street from the parking garage structure that has now been converted into the daily farmers market 6am-late afternoon. This is a very large marketplace with many vendors and the fresh produce is beautiful. The variety and quality of the fresh produce is amazing. And why is it all so large and succulent compared to what we know in the States? Back to location, our native taxi driver had trouble finding this street so remember it is across from the farmers market, Nextdoor to a bike shop and also across the street from a wonderful cheese and wine shop. The entrance door is painted purple. The historic central square is two blocks West and the harbor is three blocks south. The airport is a 10 minute cab ride. The immediate neighborhood is quiet and enjoyable. We sat outside in the abundant patio and adjoins garden several nights and it was quiet and relaxing. Wi-Fi is strong inside and out in the garden (Thank-you). Cell service is 4-5 bars strong inside the room and out in the garden. And while I’m discussing comms Maria, the owner, always responded via WhatsApp within 5 minutes of our inquiries. She was super helpful on every score including making local restaurant reservations for us (it’s a busy island in June-July so restaurant reservations are necessary even at local establishments). Public parking garages are your best bet for parking and they seem to charge about 20 euros per 24 hours. They seem secure. The closest lot is a few blocks walk from AO Mercado.

Matriz Guest House er staðsett í Ribeira Grande, í innan við 300 metra fjarlægð frá Ponte dos Oito Arcos og býður upp á garð, reyklaus herbergi og ókeypis WiFi. One of the best places we ever stayed in. Stylish, comfortable and all our wishes were fulfilled. Our host was most kind and helpful. The home made cakes and jam are delicious, we were pleasantly surprised almost every day.
