Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Located in Madalena, Casa-do-Mar features accommodation with seating area. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

Set 12 km from Pico do Carvao, DMCharme offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Daniel is a great and very helpful host who goes above and beyond to assist you with all questions you may have - very responsive during the whole stay and super friendly. The place is exactly as the pictures show it - a beautiful old house with a spirit, huge shared bathroom with very good water pressure, new air conditioner in the room that works very well. I found the location excellent - just opposite the house there's a laundry self service, and a great pizza place. In the place there's also a shared kitchen with everything you may need. WIfi worked very well for me as well. 10 out of 10 and will definitely choose that place if I return to PDL some day! Obrigada!

Located within 500 metres of Praia do Corpo Santo and 600 metres of Praia da Vinha da Areia in Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila features accommodation with seating area. Everything was great! I highly recommend that place for a holiday. Quiet, comfortable, everything you need.

Set in Angra do Heroísmo, 1.1 km from Negrito Beach, Farol Guesthouse offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Pretty, charming boutique guesthouse with ocean views and easy access via main road. We loved charm of the hostess and her attention to details all around the place, thanks to which you could feel yourself at home. Such places deserve even more than a 10 :)

Offering pool with a view and sea view, Thalassa Villas is situated in Ponta Delgada, less than 1 km from São Roque Beach and a 15-minute walk from Milicias Beach. Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

Cantinho do Piano is situated in Velas. The property has sea and garden views. The guest house features family rooms. Very central situation in Velas, just 200 meters from the ferry harbour. Stylish interior design. Comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen and a outside terrace was shared with all the rooms. Room has a/c.

Located in Povoação and only 2.4 km from Morro Beach, Casa da Lomba do Cavaleiro provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Location was perfect. Accommodations were perfect. Room was perfect. And the host went above and beyond to make our time here very special. And fresh eggs for breakfast were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the many local tips on places to dine and to get the best views of the southern coast of Sao Miguel. We highly recommend staying here. Great value, excellent conversation and host makes you feel very comfortable.
