Beautiful sea and island views as the property is at the top of the hill. We recommend watching sunset from the hotel dinning area. Really tasty freshly prepared food (some of the best we’ve had to date in the Philippines). Very clean rooms, each bungalow is on stilts and has its own balcony and two seats. The staff were all really welcoming and clearly cared about our comfort during our stay. It’s a short journey downhill to Ocam Ocam beach where you can snorkel and relax. We took our bikes to make the journey back up hill a little easier. If you’re an animal lover, the property dogs are cute, good natured and well cared for. There are three medium to large lizards that help to keep the bugs at bay and we were also lucky enough to be visited by the local monkeys.

The shower facilities had centralized heating and water pressure was strong. The receptionist/staff Kathrine, was super helpful and was available 24/7 for any questions or assistance required. Everyone was so helpful and extremely friendly. About five minutes out of coron so quieter and only 40 pesos per person to get a tricycle into the town.

Located in El Nido, 2.9 km from Caalan Beach, Banana Grove El Nido provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a garden. What an amazing stay. We felt like a part of the family from our very first breakfast there, the host is extremely warm and helpful. The houses are very basic, with just a bed, fan and light inside but we were ok with it. The toilet is surprisingly clean seeing it is literally in the middle of nature. Breakfasts are amazing and the fact that you can rent a scooter there saved us a lot of time!
