This was such an excellent place! The room was bigger and nicer than it looked in the pictures and super comfortable. It’s located a short walk from the plaza de armas and right on the corner for the buses to Chan Chan ruins and the beach. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.

At Surf House Chicama rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Great location next to the beach. Super friendly staff. Simple but really good breakfast. They rent out surf boards and wetsuits and organize a surf coach if needed. The room with sea view was really nice. You can already check out the waves from there.

FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos International Airport, 1 km from Totora Surf Hostel. We had the most AMAZING time at Totora Surf School and it was very hard to leave after three weeks! The rooms and property were always clean and organised and the view of the ocean is spectacular. Great value for money. But what made our stay so wonderful were the people! Laura and Diego are wonderful people and the care they put into their business is obvious. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and were especially kind and attentive to my dog Colt who would be very happy if we stayed forever! :) Their surf school team are all great people and Colt and I were happy to leave having made a bunch of new friends!

The place is well situated in the center. Bed was comfortable.
