Offering garden views, El Peregrino in Moyogalpa features accommodation, a garden and barbecue facilities. This guest house offers free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. We would highly recommend El Peregrino to anyone visiting Ometepe. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cleaned every day, there is a mosquito/insect screen door so your room is always comfortable plus a fan in the room. The location is great, base yourself here with a scooter, there is no need to stay on the other side of the island. The communal areas make it easy to mix with other people and you are embedded in nature. José the owner was incredibly helpful to us throughout our stay. The kitchen was excellent. The garden was full of fruit and veg which we were free to use. Amazing place!

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Beautiful location. Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

Featuring a garden, bar and views of mountain, La Sirenita - Ometepe is set in Altagracia, 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Located in Moyogalpa in the Ometepe region, Hostal tortuga viajera features a garden. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Amazing hostel! Clean. Staff go out if their way to help. Free coffee ☕ and drinking water available all day. The free pickup at the dock was a great service. I'll definitely return here when I'm in town again.

Located in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano, Hostal Así es mi Tierra provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The property features garden views. Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Hostal Bullshark is a recently renovated guest house set in Cuatro Esquinas, 16 km from Maderas Volcano. We had an amazing stay at Hostal Bullshark! Friendliest and sweetest accommodating hosts, the prices couldn't be beat, and it was really an incredible location for what we wanted: peaceful, close enough to run down the hill to the beach, proximity to the famous Ojo de Agua can't be beat. Great, affordable motorcycles available to rent on-site, the most comfortable hammocks! Very private and perfect for couples or families who are looking to experience Ometepe's incredible nature in a well-placed, authentic setting. If we ever return to Ometepe we will be back!

Guest House Nena is a recently renovated guest house in Moyogalpa, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a patio. I left two pouches with my passport, money, and everything important I was traveling with at the Guest House Nena when I departed to take a ferry back to San Jorge. I had no idea I had left them! They were under a sheet on the bed that I had inadvertently covered them with. After the people at the Guesthouse found my pouches and their valuable contents, they looked around for me, and the young lady from the Nena eventually ended up boarding ferry before we left and asked for me. Fortunately, she found me. I thanked her profusely and gave her a hug. I was extremely happy and grateful to have my stuff and to have adverted a semi-disaster. I owe that girl and the Guest House Nena in Moyogalpa….
