The host was so helpful and great! The home cooked food was one of the best and served so beautifully. We loved our room, the garden for yoga, the rooftop for relaxing, the location close to the baby elephant orphans station, and also the massages from Shani!!! I even went in two days for a total of 3,5h of massages. Honestly I can just warmly recommend you to stay there, you will have all you need and even more for an amazing Udawalawe experience and you can book Safari and straight with the owner, they can organise everything for you. Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. We loved everything at this stay. The host really tries to accommodate every request. My spouse had her birthday, and he helped me organize a surprise safari. The villa is amazing, super well decorated and everything is clean and tidy. You wake up with a view right into the forest. Also always important for me: the bathroom. Great warm shower!

Located 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. The Mango Tree House is a very beautiful place. Everything was very clean and the outdoor shower was very special. We received some cake and tea when we checked in. We directly felt welcome. The breakfast was also very delicious and good!

The room is perfect! Great bed with a mosquito net, fan, shower and awesome balcony to sit on and watch the elephants go by! We did the safari with them and loved it so much! Was such an amazing experience! You can order whichever meals you please and it was always a feast!

Very friendly and helpful host gave us good advises on our trip and has organized an incredible safari (our driver could notice every animal and tell us about them). Home-made dinner and breakfast were delicious and nutritious. Bedroom was calm and comfortable. There is a good shared space and a garden

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They provided really delicious dinner and lunch for us because there are no restaurants nearby. You do not need to book a safari in advance because they can arrange one for you whenever you like to! We booked a double room and even got a room for three so there was enough space, we even had a terrace to chill and some chairs in front of our room to relax. We forgot to take enough cash with us, so they offered to take us to the next ATM and on the way they showed us a little bit around. All in all it was a really nice stay!
