By the way, breakfasts cooked by host's mom are extremely delicious and very generous, so we even took a little with us. Host is a very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate, he helped us to book a safari. And of course it is very close to go to safari from here, only 15 minutes in the car, which will take you from hotel (and host will give you some snacks to go). Important to say that wi-fi and shower are perfect, which is not so easy to find on Sri-Lanka. Would definitely recommend!

We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

The Mango Tree House is a very beautiful place. Everything was very clean and the outdoor shower was very special. We received some cake and tea when we checked in. We directly felt welcome. The breakfast was also very delicious and good!

During the safari we saw the great variety of animals - many elephants, crocodiles, various kinds of monkeys, birds, deers, turtle and lizard. Moreover the hosts wife cooks really tasty. The dinner and breakfast (take away during the safari) was diverse and delicious.

Very friendly and helpful host gave us good advises on our trip and has organized an incredible safari (our driver could notice every animal and tell us about them). Home-made dinner and breakfast were delicious and nutritious. Bedroom was calm and comfortable. There is a good shared space and a garden

Amazing host that organized the safari for us at a good price, with an experienced driver with an eagle eye. Great homemade meals, including a take away breakfast for the safari. The room was big and clean, and the location couldn't be better, right next to the entrance of Udawalawe Park.
