El J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse se encuentra en Hongu, a 10 minutos en coche o a 70 minutos a pie por la ruta de peregrinación Kumano Kodo del gran santuario Kumano Hongu Taisha. 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO está en Tanabe, a 2 min a pie de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art y a 29 km de Sala de Conciertos Kamitonda. Perfect stay, on my way on Kumano Kodo. This place is perfectly located to have a one-night stop between Takijiri and Hongu. Ike is a very welcoming host, and speaks very well English! He and his wife are two great cookers, as I had the chance to try their dinner/breakfast/luck box. I truly recommend! Thanks a lot! :)

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar está en Shingu, a 6 min a pie de Shingu Castle Ruins Park y a 700 metros de Kumano Hayatama Taisha. what a great little place. If you have a small group, the 4 ppl room on the 3rd floor is perfect. The place has lots of great info in multiple languages and the affiliated izakaya was the perfect place to go for dinner.

The host was really cool and we could tell he is a very welcoming and warm-hearted soul. We appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the place. We really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub that felt brand new. It is also a convenient 10-minute walk to the beach! The host took some memorable pictures of us, which we also really appreciate. This is a special place ran by a genuine, down-to-earth host. Thank you G-Sun for creating a lovely Wakayama experience!

Nice garden, comfortable living room and big sleeping room. It’s exactly our dream house in Japan. We highly recommend you to stay there. The couple are very nice and helpful, they gave us useful recommendations. We sure we will be back!

くまの蔵inn Warehouse está en Shingu, a 13 min a pie de Kamikura Shrine, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis y jardín. The host Koji drove us to our Kumano River tour the next day which was a 20 minute drive and he did it very generously for us. He was very flexible with our check-in time and was extremely gracious and friendly and helpful and made sure we were very comfortable and then left us alone. The apartment was great for four people and it was quirky and spotless and charming. I would definitely stay again.

Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo se encuentra en Koyasan, a 37 km de Tama Museum, y dispone de restaurante, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. El personal super amable y hospitalario. La habitación era gigante y el baño privado se agradecía. La cama muy caliente y muy cómoda.

Guest House hachi hachi se encuentra en Koyasan, a 37 km de Kishi Station y a 43 km de Matsushita Park. La casa es muy bonita, limpia y ordenada, las habitaciones tienen mucho espacio y aire acondicionado. Los baños y duchas tienen todo lo que necesitas, shampoo, acondicionador, gel de ducha…etc. En el área común está siempre disponible un bar para tomar té o café con dulces típicos y galletas de cortesía. Nori es muy servicial y te brinda muy buenas recomendaciones para conocer Koyasan. El desayuno western style que preparan esta muy bien, el pan parece que lo preparan ellos y es delicioso. Tienen dos gatitos 🫶🏻 el ambiente es muy agradable y acogedor. Gracias!!

Kumano Winery Guest House está a 10 km de Sala de Conciertos Kamitonda y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, terraza y bar. En el agroturismo, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis.... This was my last stop on the Kumano Kodo (hiked in reverse) and the experience here was truly special! The owners were incredibly kind and helpful and the food was spectacular. Definitely would come back here the next time I am in Japan.

El Kumano Kodo Nagano Guesthouse se encuentra en Tanabe, a 23 km de los baños termales de Shirahama, y ofrece jardín y habitaciones con aire acondicionado y conexión WiFi gratuita. This was such a great stay! Simon and Yumiko, the owners of this small Guesthouse are such lovely and inviting people. Simon met us at Kii-Tanabe station at our pre-discussed time, and drove the 25 min to the remote guesthouse. The atmosphere around the property is serene and so quiet, such a good change in pace compared to Osaka! Simon helped us with our Kumano Kodo walking plan, and then the next morning dropped us off at the start of the hike, another 30 min drive away. There’s a small shrine that you can walk to close to the property. There are two guest rooms on property, we were the only ones there, so it wasn’t loud. We had a microwave, fridge, electric kettle and heater/air conditioner unit in our room. They also provide coffee and green tea and cups! Highly recommend!
