The house was beautiful.

Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. The host was really kind, he made conversation with me even though I speak little japanese and recommended a few spots around the area to visit. Both the house and the share rooms were more spacious than I expected, and I also got a couple of free tram tickets with my stay. Great experience.

Featuring a garden, Guesthouse Kazura is located in Nanto. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Very friendly and helpful staff! It was amazing to stay in a traditional Japanese thatched house (over 300 years old). The accommodation was warm and had a very cosy lounge area (with guitars and other instruments to play) and lots of cooking space. The location was also quite spectacular with views of the city at night and located next to a lake, park, and sports facilities. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the property. Definitely a must if you're planning to stay in Nanto.

Located in the historical world heritage site of Ainokura village, Minshuku Yomoshirou offers Japanese-style accommodations in a traditional Gassho-style house with thatched roofs. The couple were super nice. They take care of you like their own bloodline!

A good place to experience the japan house. The host is very helpfull, they even bring me to the supermarket and accompany me to get some fresh vegetable and fish. Thank you
