Ocean views. Lovely private deck and lawn overlooking ocean. Amazing bbq (had it twice!). Good wifi. Miki the manager is an absolute star - her hospitality is amazing.

Minpaku Yorozuya - Vacation STAY 12905 ligger i Kurayoshi, 49 km från Tottori Sand Dunes, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Cannot recommend this place enough! The owners were super friendly and helped us figure out the best route to get to see all the attractions. They even invited us to a matcha ceremony and showed us around a bit! If you happen to want to visit Hokuei, you need to check out this place. We will be back again, for sure :)

Shukubo Kansho-in Temple Sanrakuso ligger vid foten av berget Daisen och 3 minuters promenad från templet Daisen-ji. Här bor du i ett traditionellt japanskt tempel. The food is amazing! The best food ((highlight) of our 12-day trip. It beats all the fancier meals we have paid for. We love how the host sets up the meals at windows with different amazing natural views every time. The food itself is beyond expectations. I did not even like vegetarian food before, but I love their food. The Kaiseki style has many varieties of courses, and everything is delicious. We especially like the tempura of local greens found in this mountain.

Iwamino Oyado lucere ligger i Uradome, 33 km från Daijoji Temple, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. It had a very homey feel, and even tho it is a shared space (for the public amenities), it did not feel crowded nor noisy. The location was just a walk across the coast as well.

Destiny Inn Sakaiminato ligger i Honjōmachi, 20 km från Matsue. Privat parkering finns på plats. Vissa rum har utsikt över bergen eller floden. Alla rum har tillgång till delat badrum. Good location for the kitaro street. Near the station. Very clean, the owner is interested in traveling.

Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.
