Makoto is a great host and the environment in the guest house was great. I strongly recommend visiting Makoto’s guest house for any traveler!

Good location (nearby Hikifune metro station, which is only few stations away from the town like Tokyo station or Asakusa, and nearby covenient stores and restaurants as well). The owner is super nice and gave us a warm welcoming and a good care. The accommodation was cozy, comfortable and gave a local-alike feeling. The place was wide enough for 3 women to stay in comfortably. Totally recommended. Also, we can see a Tokyo Sky Tree from the street around the accommodation.

Such a mesmerizing atmosphere, very comfortable, but also historical and so connected to nature! The food was beyond excellent! Oyado Yaokyu 1st Floor in 4 Story Building - Vacation STAY 6713 位在青梅市，距離多摩六都科學館（Tamarokuto Science Center） 35 公里，有 WiFi（免費）和免費私人停車位。這間住宿距離 Fuchu Park 38 公里，距離 Fuchu Art Museum 39 公里，距離三麗鷗彩虹樂園 41... Tetsuji and Yoko were amazing hosts! They were the kindest couple! The sleeping rooms were beautiful with tatami mat floors and rice paper screens. We went in the winter, so it was a bit cold, but the room comes with a kotatsu table (low table with a built in heater and blanket) and it was amazingly cozy. The view from the room is also incredible, overlooking a ravine with a rushing river. In the morning the made us a delicious breakfast of rice, soup, salted fish, mountain yam and an assortment of other goodies for only ¥1000! They have cats on premise, fyi if you’re allergic, they were only with us at breakfast (obviously not in our rooms) but they are such sweet kitties! From Tersuji and Yoko, to the cozy vibes, to the attentiveness and care - It was like being taken care of by my own grandparents!

Staff was very polite, helpful and tried to do everything to make our stay most pleasant. The room was not big (located in the middle of the city, totally expected) but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

Hisayo's guesthouse is in a prime location if you have a flight to/from Haneda. I had the Japanese Room and it's super comfortable. Also there is a nice communal area where you can meet other nice people. The owner is the most friendly person you will meet on your Japan trip. I will always come back when I have a flight from HND.
