Open from August 2017, Guest House Wagokoro offers a modern Japanese-style accommodation an 8-minute stroll away from JR Nippori Station. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom and toilet. When travelling to a completely new place for the first time, one of the best things you can find is a warm, friendly welcome and kindness from your host that exceeds your expectations. Going back to Wagokoro at the end of a long day in busy Tokyo city was like coming home to family. We had lovely conversations and always felt taken care of - I even felt so comfortable practising my basic Japanese with our hosts as they are so nice to talk to us every day. The room was lovely with wooden interiors, and we really loved hanging out in the common room. The common room had an equipped kitchen, free tea and coffee, and cute tables to sit and have a snack or meal. There are also lots of good places to eat around the hotel, and the train station was just a 7-minute walk away. Wagokoro had a level of hospitality that we have never experienced before, it's definitely a place we would like to stay at again next time in Tokyo :)

A recently renovated property, 波奈 浅草 Hana Asakusa ーSkyTree前駅まで徒歩5分ー is situated in Tokyo near Hatonomachidori Shopping Street, Tsukada Kobo and Aizome Museum. Good location (nearby Hikifune metro station, which is only few stations away from the town like Tokyo station or Asakusa, and nearby covenient stores and restaurants as well). The owner is super nice and gave us a warm welcoming and a good care. The accommodation was cozy, comfortable and gave a local-alike feeling. The place was wide enough for 3 women to stay in comfortably. Totally recommended. Also, we can see a Tokyo Sky Tree from the street around the accommodation.

Set in Oshima, 15 km from Motomachi Port and 20 km from Okada Port, 築100年の宿【はぶの家】 offers a garden and air conditioning. Everything was on point! Such a mesmerizing atmosphere, very comfortable, but also historical and so connected to nature! The food was beyond excellent! We liked everything, and would like to come again and again :) Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Kitazawa Cozy House ligger i Setagaya-kvarteret i Tokyo, 700 m fra Kitazawa Hachiman-helligdommen, 700 m fra Shinganji-templet og 1,4 km fra Museum of Modern Japanese Literature. Clean cozy property in quiet suburb but with close links to central areas. Amy was so hospitable and welcoming!

Hotellet ligger i Ome, 38 km fra Fuchu Park og 39 km fra Fuchu Kunstmuseum. Oyado Yaokyu 1. sal i 4 Story Building - Vacation STAY 6713 har aircondition. Tetsuji and Yoko were amazing hosts! They were the kindest couple! The sleeping rooms were beautiful with tatami mat floors and rice paper screens. We went in the winter, so it was a bit cold, but the room comes with a kotatsu table (low table with a built in heater and blanket) and it was amazingly cozy. The view from the room is also incredible, overlooking a ravine with a rushing river. In the morning the made us a delicious breakfast of rice, soup, salted fish, mountain yam and an assortment of other goodies for only ¥1000! They have cats on premise, fyi if you’re allergic, they were only with us at breakfast (obviously not in our rooms) but they are such sweet kitties! From Tersuji and Yoko, to the cozy vibes, to the attentiveness and care - It was like being taken care of by my own grandparents!

Oyado Kien Ryogoku tilbyder 2-stjernet indkvartering i Tokyo, 500 m fra Yokoamicho Park og Tokyo Metropolitan Memorial Hall. Staff was very polite, helpful and tried to do everything to make our stay most pleasant. The room was not big (located in the middle of the city, totally expected) but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

銀河荘-Galaxy Guesthouse 12歳以下不可 is located in Hachijo and offers a garden and a terrace. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. Keiko and Kenta were exceptional hosts. Their home is beautiful and comforting. Great view from the deck, you can see Aogashima in the distance on a clear day, and the Milky Way up above on a clear night. They have notebooks with wonderful messages from guests dating back to 2006!

HISAYO'S INN ligger i Ota Ward-kvarteret i Tokyo, 5 km fra Terminal 2 Observation Deck i Tokyo Internationale Lufthavn. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition samt gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. Hisayo's guesthouse is in a prime location if you have a flight to/from Haneda. I had the Japanese Room and it's super comfortable. Also there is a nice communal area where you can meet other nice people. The owner is the most friendly person you will meet on your Japan trip. I will always come back when I have a flight from HND.
