Located in Inokuchi, 32 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Guesthouse tonari provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. We had a lovely stay at this place. The couple who run the place were incredibly welcoming. The friendly host explained everything we needed to know about the house. I had a couple questions and the host was quick to respond. The location is convenient for people who do not have a car. Me and my daughter were on this island on a cycling trip. After returning our bikes at Kamiura rental cycle terminal we took the bus. The house is a 3km ride away (two bus stops). The bus stop (Tatara no Sato 多々羅の里) is right in front of the guest house which was convenient. There aren’t many buses though so be sure to check the timetable if you want to ride the bus. The house itself is comfortable, incredibly clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. Overall we had a great stay! Thank you for everything.

Open from 2015, Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo offers female only and mixed dormitory rooms with free WiFi. Dogo Onsen Station is a 4-minute walk away. Shimpei is an amazing host. He is very kind and helpful. He let me keep my bicycle inside and helped booking a ferry. The music was very nice too.

Our stay at Imabari couldn’t have gone any better! The view from the room was lovely. The owner was incredibly kind, she helped us by making us a restaurant reservation. She also left delicious clementines in the room for us and gave us a gift when we left. The room itself was very comfortable. The towels and yukata were the most comfortable we had in Japan. Overall amazing stay.

Great place in a quiet town. Would need to take a bus or train from Uwajima. Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Imabari, 30 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. Very new, clean, beautiful and calm. Had literally everything we could think of (even a music box). Also the bed was like sleeping in clouds. Would love to stay longer.
