Shimpei is an amazing host. He is very kind and helpful. He let me keep my bicycle inside and helped booking a ferry. The music was very nice too.

Room had plates and kitchen equipment as well as games. Location was good with 24hr Lawson nearby.

Would need to take a bus or train from Uwajima. Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

Very new, clean, beautiful and calm. Had literally everything we could think of (even a music box). Also the bed was like sleeping in clouds. Would love to stay longer.

Only one group of people staying at one time(max. 5 people), there were only two of us during our stay, so the whole experience was wonderful. The owner recommended nearby restaurant, friendly and nice food. The room is comfy and clean. Overall highly recommended! And we love the breakfast!

Shiokaze guest house / Vacation STAY 6794 está en Matsuyama, a 1,9 km de Hojo Hometown Pavilion, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The manager of the facility was exceptional. She offered to show me around Matsuyama with her car, but since I was exhausted by riding all day, I respectfully declined. She cooked me and the other guests a delicious meal that we couldn’t finish because we were too full!

Outstanding property with all the amenities you could want for a family retreat. With optional Karaoke, Large Outdoor Bath, and Yakiniku (BBQ), we spent more time at the house then we did away from it. The house is nestled in a private bamboo forest with multiple outdoor hammocks and one indoor hammock to enjoy. The building itself appears to be very new and was very clean. We had a toddler in our party and were provided with a diaper pail as well as baby shower supplies. We requested the optional outdoor bath, for each night of our stay, and there was a bucket of rubber duckies that filled the large bath much to our toddler's delight. There were also board games and coloring supplies available to entertain our children. The property owners even provided home made mochi and shaved ice! All in all this was the highlight of our trip around Japan and a memory my children will never forget. 10/10 would recommend this property to families or couples looking for a private getaway.
