For us it was an emergency stay due to road closures, but the host was extremely hospitable and friendly. It was not planned stay and our stay was just for waiting a better weather, however it was very convenient and nice place to stay. Facilities are excellent and everything was exceptional. The host is amazing and helped out immediately when we needed assistance. It had a private bathroom and a kitchenette. The room was so cozy we did not want to leave :)

Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. Located at the foot of mountains, you can enjoy the impressive view from the room or go hiking for a closer look. The place had been renovated, so all of the rooms were exceptionally well done and clean. The kitchen had every necessity you made need for a proper meal. They also had coffee and tea! The location was beautiful and close to hiking and kayaking. Plus, the dog was extremely sweet and gave me the doggie fix we were looking for. Would highly recommend the place!!

We loved this amazing little cabin at the foothills of the mountains! So peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic and had incredible views. Hosts were amazing and had 2 very friendly and playful dogs. Close to a glacier which we managed to have to ourselves after a morning hot tub. Heating and hot water in the cabin was great. Beds very comfy.
