I traveled with my two sons. There were 4 beds in our room, so we were happy that we each had our own bed to sleep in.

Set in Mullinavat, 16 km from Christ Church Cathedral, The Garrandarragh Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This Inn was a bit of a surprise; it is above a traditional stone-built Irish tavern or pub, which has an old-world feel and great food. But the hotel rooms are completely remodeled and wonderful. Really, the whole room felt like a new, upscale hotel in New York, and then we would go downstairs and have a wonderful Irish meal next to the stone fireplace. The owner spent some time in the USA, so there are a few things we noticed that were nice touches, like having American-style bacon available with breakfast. We had a room with three twin beds. It was spacious, with modern decor and a large window. There is an elevator up from ground level. Good HVAC systems kept it comfortable (we traveled in mid-October). The bathroom is very large, with very nice fixtures, heated towel bar, heated floor, a large shelf to place items on while showering, and an oversized walk-in shower with glass wall. There is also a large parking lot next door so it was convenient to put our car there, no extra charge, and walk right into the Inn.
