Robert, the owner is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to accommodate all the guests. The view from our room was amazing, we just wanted to stay in the guesthouse all day every day! Roberts dog Rocky is also the best little companion.

SeaGate Bungalows í Sabang býður upp á gistirými, einkastrandsvæði, garð og garðútsýni. Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

Lake access and beautiful view from the garden as well as the room - I think The most beautiful out of all The accomodation I’ve seen while walking around Tuk Tuk Village. New and very clean apartaments. Great banana pancaces for breakfast:) Very warm and helpful owners- helped organize a guide and transport around The lake as well as futher trip.

Bua Guest House býður upp á garðútsýni og gistirými með garði og verönd, í um 9,3 km fjarlægð frá Medan Grand-moskunni. The owners were beyond helpful with anything I needed. One of the most accommodating and helpful hosts I’ve ever experienced.

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys er staðsett í Bukit Lawang og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

Romlan er gistihús sem snýr að sjónum og býður upp á 3 stjörnu gistirými í Tuk Tuk. Það er með einkastrandsvæði, garði og einkabílastæði. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour býður upp á gistirými í Bukit Lawang. Gististaðurinn er með sameiginlegt eldhús og lautarferðarsvæði. Þetta 2 stjörnu gistihús er með sérinngang. The accommodation is super cheap and the location is perfect, the owners will even pick you up from the bus station if you get to Bukit Lawang with a local bus
