The room decor is stylish and modern, and the layout is classy. Everything works perfectly. It is a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal which is really convenient.

On arrival we were greeted by the owner, who was very welcoming. The studio is spacious and has everything you need for a stay, and is 3 minutes walk from the beautiful Kini beach. The highlight is definitely the terrace.

Even in the beginning of August, the heart of tourist season, Elisa and Costas made us feel as if we were the only visitors staying in their exceptionally lovely house, when, in fact, they were operating at full occupancy. It must be said that our room, as well as the entirety of Villa Maria, was elegantly-decorated, impeccably cared for, tasteful, and, quite simply, beautiful. When Costas met us at Miaouli Square and proceeded to retrieve my wife’s carry-on suitcase as well as another roller bag from another couple also booked into the guest house, carry them up the MANY stairs (perhaps the only caveat to consider depending on one’s fitness level) to the house, while he negotiated simultaneous conversations in Greek and English to accommodate both couples, we knew we were in for a pleasant stay. Later, his recommendations for beaches, restaurants, tavernas, and delicious gelato, and more—all clearly plotted into a map for our use—were fine-tuned after a bit of conversation to suit us. And even though we usually like to discover destinations on our own when we travel, we soon found ALL of his recommendations hit the mark! Elisa, too, encouraged us to imagine that we were living in our own private island home away from home. A mix up in scheduling for her Greek cooking class—a guest’s mistake, not hers—meant that our late-notice sign-up for the afternoon would have to be cancelled.

Onar Syros - Rustic Rooms er staðsett í Ermoupoli, 1,3 km frá Asteria-ströndinni og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi með ókeypis WiFi og flýtiinnritun og -útritun. Lovely staff in a secure building close to Ermoupoli port (5-10 mins walk). The room was clean and comfortable with everything needed.

Oisía Hotel er staðsett í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Asteria-ströndinni og í 8 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Saint Nicholas-kirkjunni. Amazing! Totally recommended. Very friendly owner/receptionist. Very big and comfy room with character!

Locadiera Pansion er staðsett í hjarta Ermoupoli á Syros-svæðinu, 500 metra frá Saint Nicholas-kirkjunni og býður upp á sólarverönd og útsýni yfir Eyjahaf. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði hvarvetna. We had a lovely stay with friends at Locadiera Pansion! We were greeted with such friendly and amazing service in the heart of Syros! Such a perfect location and great value for money, thank you!

Hið fjölskyldurekna Ethrion er staðsett við göngugötu á sögulegum stað, 150 metrum frá Ermoupolis-höfninni og aðaltorginu. We really loooveed the view, the location, the room, the beds, the cleanness, the owner Mr Giorgos and Katerina from the housekeeping. They were very friendly,helpful and very good people. Great hospitality. 1000 thank you is not enough.

Achilleion er staðsett í nýklassískri byggingu frá 1880. Þetta hefðbundna gistihús er staðsett miðsvæðis á móti Syros-iðnaðarsafninu og býður upp á herbergi í einstökum stíl með útsýni yfir bæinn og... Very pleasant and helpful owners and staff.

Aeolia Boutique Studios er staðsett miðsvæðis við Iroon-torg og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum og ókeypis Wi-Fi Interneti. Frá þakveröndinni er útsýni yfir Eyjahaf og fallegt landslag... Fantastic location. Beautiful family business. Extremely clean. Highly recommend!

Wind Tales er staðsett á hæðarbrún í miðaldahluta Ano Syros og býður upp á útsýni yfir Eyjahaf og Ermoupolis-höfnina. Græna hótelið býður upp á hefðbundin gistirými. Absolutely incredible place ! Exceeded my expectations, even after viewing the high booking score, best place to stay for sure in the Island of Syros! Its position high in Ano Syros makes perfect location to explore both towns of Ano Syros and Ermoupoli , and you'll have one of the best views in the island (as you can see in the photos)! The whole staff was amazing, always helping you feel at home and giving you best tips for the island, and even inviting me to try a new cocktail (thank you Alexis!). Breakfast was also superb, excellent choice of local and fresh products that you could take in your own terrace... with that view :)
