We stayed in Room 5. Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

Property was nice, good location for what we needed. Spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and accommodating! Loads of towels and bedding.

Set in South Shields, 800 metres from Sandhaven Beach and 11 km from Stadium of Light, South Shore Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. Absolutely EVERYTHING! We were in town for a concert May 2023, and staying at South Shore Guest House was like visiting godparents on a school holiday - warm, welcoming, cozy, and caring. The best part was our hostess Lorraine’s charming stories over the hearty homemade breakfasts that she and her husband prepared for all the guests each morning. The town of South Shields is a dreamy, friendly community by the sea, and this B&B is in the perfect spot for strolling to and fro from the diverse restaurants & stores to the excellent dog watching at the pier. Also, super convenient to find from the train station. I can’t recommend a stay there enough; 10/10.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hoppers Cottage Guest House is located in Gateshead, 2.1 km from MetroCentre and 6.7 km from Utilita Arena. Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from South Shields’ beach and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, this 3-star guest house offers free Wi-Fi access. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect with lots of options, kept me going until tea time. I particularly liked the little extras in the room such as an iron and hygiene items

Set in a residential street, this large Victorian house is only a 2-minute walk to South Shields town centre, parks and beaches. It has nicely decorated bedrooms and free parking. On arrival met with a smile, room was lovely and spacious, breakfast was the best I have ever had with lots to choose from.Paul was very friendly would recommend this property if in South Shields

Really enjoyed our stay, really lovely hotel, very comfortable and extremely clean, very welcoming and friendly staff, great location, breakfast was excellent....if we are ever in the area again I won't be looking for anywhere else to stay.
