The room was much better than I was expecting. Food and drink in the pub were good. The breakfast was very good value and the scrambled eggs were perfect.

We have returned after staying here last October, and will continue to come back as we love the family room which is perfect for us and Gordon and his team are so welcoming and helpful! The location is excellent, right in the middle of the holiday village of Thorpeness which is quaint, busy in the day and quiet at night. The restaurant is busy , though and worth booking. The rooms are lovely, very individual, well thought out and exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities were good quality. The staff are truly lovely, friendly but not over friendly and the food was excellent. Their breakfast choices are wonderfully eclectic and locally sourced. We love this place and return regularly.

The property was spotlessly clean - and the bedroom was spacious .The owners were lovely and deserve to do well. I was woken up one morning (at 6.20 a.m.)by a deep (male voice) in the kitchen - which must have been underneath our bedroom. But it did not spoil the holiday. We will return!
