The property has been sympathetically renovated after a fire in 2020. it still has a wonderful pub ‘feel’ but the rooms are tasteful and (without exaggerating) one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I could not see a cobweb or mark anywhere. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was wonderfully appointed for the price with a nespresso machine and a great range of tea and coffee. Again, I’ve stayed in more expensive properties that don’t have this.

Breakfast was great, and the front garden, spectacular view, gorgeous nearby countryside, and short walk into this quaint town 'on our path' made this affordable lodging a clear favorite~

Bed was soft as a cloud and really comfortable. Location just across the beach. So much attention to detail! Breakfast was fantastic! This really should be a 4 star not a 3 star hotel. I highly recommend staying here.
