Lovely clean room - spotless - and tea coffee and milk left in the room too along with the necessary bathroom bits. The host Zara was very helpful and had left nothing to chance. Would happily stay here again - recommended.

I was in a small single room with shared bathroom which is perfect if you are on a budget. 10 minute walk to the train station and 1 minute to the beach, shops, busses, pier, arcades etc. There are also large rooms for families and couples.

El Alma Inn & Dining Rooms, situado junto al The Pier en Harwich, a 400 metros del centro de la localidad, admite mascotas y ofrece WiFi gratuita y un restaurante. El establecimiento alberga un bar. The best inn I have ever stayed inn! It's a 1500s building and it is gorgeous and fascinating inside. So much to look at, lovingly and tastefully restored and preserved. See pics. Fantastic staff. I didn't use the pub / restaurant but it looked superb. I did have breakfast which was 10 out of 10, see pic. The location is in the heart of the historic old town, all the streets are narrow and quaint, I managed to find parking up the street, but the whole area wasn't designed for motor cars. Be aware that the many steep stairs are not suitable if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases, so if that's you call them to discuss your options. See the pic of the paper they gave me to help me navigate the labyrinth! Overall the best historic property I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled a lot. Don't miss staying here!
