A good location for a relaxing holiday in Palomino, Jaba Jan Hostal is a guest house surrounded by views of the river. My favourite hostel in 5 months of travelling! Very kind staff - super helpful, warm, friendly and welcoming. Great food, lovely common areas, beautiful private beaches. Best value for money - wish I could of stayed longer in this beautiful place. 100% recommend to everyone.

Featuring quiet street views, Donama River features accommodation with balcony, around 1.2 km from Palomino Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The place and the views as well as it’s central location. The staff was very good and special with our stay, cleanliness and food that was catered for us. Hamacas and places to relax. Easy to get from main road and one block from the roads that go to the beach. Can take around 20 mins walk to the beach or 10 minute moto ride. We extended our stay.

Boasting garden views, Jui Chi MaMa provides accommodation with a garden, around 2.4 km from Palomino Beach. I really recommend staying at Jui Chi MaMa. The hostel itself is very clean and comfortable with a beautiful and calm garden. However I found there more than just a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The owners have a great knowlege of the Palomino, it's history and the indegineus people who live around there. German also took us birdwatching - I recommend to you this activity with him, he knows a lot about the birds in Palomino and he is a great guide. Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of inner courtyard, Casa Zaida Hostal Vintage is set in Ríohacha, 800 metres from Playa de Riohacha. I was received like if I was part of the family 👌👌 Everyone was very kind with me, and it was a really nice moment! The patio is so colorful with many flowers, a little haven of peace.

Boasting garden views, Hostal Nibuni Palomino features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around less than 1 km from Palomino Beach. Relaxing vibe close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away from the business of the beach and town! Good value for money with a nice pool and breakfast. Owner was very kind and accommodating; he made us tea when we were unwell and organised the delivery of an item I had left in the room from Palomino to Santa Marta. Highly recommend!

Situated in Palomino, 100 metres from Palomino Beach, Casa Chapolin Boutique Guesthouse features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. the property is very lovely and everything invites you to chill. I slept in the 4 Bedroom dorm and the beds are very comfy. the staff cleans the room and the bathroom everyday. the food was very nice, the staff super helpful and kind and I really enjoyed the yoga classes.

Offering a lovely garden/chill out area and views of the mountain, Bella Flor Hostel Palomino is situated in Palomino, halfway between the beach and the main drive. This is Palomino <3 Coliving with nature… Our room was utterly beautiful, down to every perfect little detail! <3 Open aired, plants in the bathroom for your privacy, just the entire space - we were in awe! This is definitely one of our favourite places to stay, if not “the favourite”! Wi-Fi is amazing here, especially for Palomino, where the power goes out every now and then - Bella Flor has both a generator, and solar panels so the internet is stable even during outages. This is highly important for my partner who works online. So we immensely appreciate this - to be able to take “your office” with you to paradise. The communal spaces are also gorgeous! Just saw a hummingbird in the garden the other day… Easy to meet other travelers, and there’s also a quiet space for when you need “me time”. They also have a communal kitchen. And you can see the stunning sierra and its snow (yes, snow!) from their backyard… Of course we extended our stay here for longer <3
