Amazing apartment with a perfectly planned and well-designed interior. We booked a double room, the big and comfy bathroom was on the floor, also there was a sauna in the apartment! I had nice relaxing time reading in the living room with Biblioteck, eating breakfast at the dining room and looking in the fully equipped kitchen. 5 minutes walk from the city centre, 10 min to the train station.

Situated in Alt Sankt Johann, 300 metres from Alt St. Johann-Sellamatt, Landhaus an der Thur features views of the mountain. The property is around 2.4 km from Iltios-Chaserrugg, 2.6 km from Ruestel. Beautiful area, and the property was very nice. Check in could not have been easier. The property owners were so kind and helpful. Overall, I recommend!

Offering a restaurant and a bakery, Hirschen Wald is located in the village of Wald and features rooms with free WiFi. The location is exceptional, one a one lane road in the mountains of Appenzell. It was mid April but we had a lot of snow every day, but the roads were plowed and the hotel is very accessible, even in poor weather. The hotel is old but the interior is updated and the rooms are large, modern, and very clean. The food is excellent and they cooked two unique Swiss items for us that were not on the menu. The staff is exceptional.

Surrounded by the Hoher Kasten to Säntis Mountains, Gasthaus Bären Schlatt offers rooms with views of the mountains and Appenzell village. the view from the hotel was exceptional, the owners were incredible, very friendly and always with a smile. they even drove us back to the city the next day. make sure to have dinner there, as it was amazing. the room was very clean and spacious

Located next to the car-free centre of Appenzell, Adler Hotel is set in a beautiful traditional Appenzell-style building. Very authentic house with some rooms originally decorated. Extremely friendly and helpful host. We felt welcomed dearly, on a personal level!

Surrounded by untouched nature, the Waldgasthaus Lehmen can be found 4 km from Weissbad in the canton of Appenzell. It offers Alpine-style rooms and a charming restaurant terrace. We stayed 2 nights beginning of June. If you like traditional places, you should visit Waldgasthaus Lehmen. You would be surrounded by natural forest with a view on Appenzell Alps. One of the most common sound during the day is various bells on cow necks. We were lucky to see how Appenzell farmers bring their cows to the mountains. The farmers have very beautiful cloths! On Saturday we saw a group of farmers, who came in their traditional dresses to Lehmen restaurant and had a few hours of singing and enjoying food. The restaurant is very good, if you like Swiss food. You must be hiking in that region, otherwise food might be too heavy. I had pork steak, pork schnitzel and beef steak with noodles and mushrooms. All dishes were very tasty. You have to try local beer! And Lehmen whisky! Highly recommended! Very nice! Service is impeccable, fast and attentive. All personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! I would prefer, if it started at 7 instead of 8… Our room 17 was great, soft pillows, comfy beds, bath, simple but cozy design. The hotel has a playground for kids. Parking is huge.

Hotel Vadian Garni is set in 2 separate historic buildings, with the hotel dating back to 1904 and the annex to the 16th century, this 2-star-superior hotel is located in the old centre of Sankt... We really liked the location and style. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. (We didn't have breakfast, so there are no reviews in the table above, but I think it would be great.)
