Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 2 restaurants offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine, a bar and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. Got 2 lovely family rooms nxt to each other and had everything we needed and so comfortable bed lovely too, breakfast great and so helpful , great food was booked out last night but would have loved to have eaten all nights there.

Providing free WiFi, private parking and water sports facilities, the recently renovated property of Ferien-Sempachersee Sandra Sens, offers rooms in Sempach, 16 km from Lucerne Station and 16 km from... Sandra was very kind and helpful. Room clean, with awesome view. Sempach is beautiful village.

The stylish Wanderlust Guesthouse is located in Weggis, 200 metres form the lake and at the foot of the Rigi mountain. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. Lucerne is a 30-minute drive... Beds in our room were very comfortable. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen where guests can cook/reheat their meals and make tea or coffee. There is a large dining table. There is also a comfortable salon with books and games for kids. We booked a parking spot, which was well marked and kept for us clearly marked. Coop supermarket is just behind the corner.

Family-run for over 350 years, this traditional country hotel in Triengen is 8 km from Sursee and 30 km from Lucerne. Each room has a balcony and offers free Wi-Fi. Our room was sparkling clean, the bed very comfortable and we had a fast wi-fi connection. Room had beautiful view over the valley. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order perfectly. The staff was very accommodating and multi-lingual. We will stay there again when back in Switzerland next year.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV. Nice simple room with a big meadow in front (e.g. for kids to run safely).

The Garni-Hotel Frohburg enjoys a quiet, lakeside location in the centre of Weggis. All rooms have a balcony facing the lake, and WiFi is provided for free. We were offered to stay at Hotel Central am See and again in an upgraded room with a full lake view in front of us (including the bathroom). And the breakfast was marvellous including a fresh cooked egg as per our wish!

The Sonnenberg Hotel in Kriens offers panoramic views over Lake Lucerne, the mountains and the forest, a Nespresso machine in every room, seasonal cuisine and free WiFi. The view from the hotel is absolutely amazing. There’s a private balcony in our room to watch the night view and the sunrise. I highly recommend this place if you’re driving to visit Lucerne. The room and the shared Bathroom are clean. Nothing to complain about. The selection of the breakfast is less than usual, but it was enough for us.
