This place is by far the largest room we have in our 2-week long trip in Europe. It is a nice large studio with an extra bedroom. Some views to the village street, goats and hills at the distance. Nice and quiet. No AC, but it was fine for us in early September. I'm not sure how it is in the heat of summer. Breakfast brought to our room in the morning, very nice host who likes to please her guests. Pay with cash.

Great location, beautiful view, clean and tidy room. As it was off-season for tourists, I was the only traveller in the hotel during my stay, but the manager was still very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was well organised and delicious! The manager prepared an extra croissant for me every day after learning that I like croissants. The shower gel in my room was taken away by a previous guest and the manager replenished it with two, lent me a hairdryer and provided me with extra pillows on request. If you are planning a trip to Château-d'Oex or Montreux, I highly recommend staying at this good value hostel. I will be coming back very soon!

El Au Petit Gite ofrece alojamiento en Châtel-Saint-Denis. Ofrece acceso directo a las pistas de esquí, punto de venta de pase de esquí, jardín y terraza. The property is beautiful. It was perfect for a visit to Switzerland. In the mountains, but only 30 minutes from Lausanne. I was treated with such kindness and hospitality. I can only imagine the property during ski season.
