This was honestly a hidden gem! It was absolutely spotless, extremely comfortable, and had everything you need. The host also provides a fridge in the room which was super handy. Not only that, it was only a short walk from places like the Bear Pit, Old Town, multiple viewpoints, and the river, or a short bus/tram journey to the main train station. I absolutely loved every minute of my stay here, and the host was absolutely lovely- even when I managed to have issues with the door at gone 10pm, she was nothing but helpful and kind! I couldn't recommend staying here more, it truly felt like a home away from home. I can't understand how it isn't fully booked constantly! (My second night, I was the only one there!) If you're looking for a place to stay in Bern, honestly look no further!

I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

El The Alpenhof, situado en la pintoresca localidad de Stechelberg, en el Oberland bernés, es una casa sencilla de montaña con instalaciones básicas y ofrece alojamiento económico, aparcamiento... Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Stunning scenery. The house very simple and that was just perfect for us. Lauterbrunnen was very bustling with tourists but out by Stechelberg where the Alpenhof mountain house is situated there is just mountains, and quiet, only sound the nearby waterfall .. simply idyllic. The hostess Diane is very friendly and helped us a lot, everything is very informal and easy going

El Pension Hotel Restaurant Sunnmatt se encuentra en Aeschi, a 1 km del remonte de Aeschiried. I LOVED everything! Theo and Beatrice have been the best hosts..Their place was spotless with the best views..They perfected my 2 weeks in this beautiful country and I now consider them my second family. Will DEFINITELY be back!
