We My husband and I arrived earlier than our designated check-in time, and though Matilda was busy making up the rooms, she invited us in and offered us coffee and homemade raki. We sat on the porch and talked to her brother while enjoying our refreshments (also munching on the fresh traditional cookies her mother had made). Everything after check-in was equally special, from yummy and copious meals (all traditional dishes) to homemade white and red wine. We were sorry to have to leave early for a bus back to Tirana, because it meant missing a final meal on the terrace with views of the castle. But Matilda's husband drove us to the bus-stop (free of charge) and packed a breakfast for us to eat on our trip. Her entire family is kind and hospitable, going out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We would definitely stay again!!

She welcomed us in front of the property and showed us our room. The property is in the Old city and very close to the Bazaar and all the restaurants, cafeteria and historic sites in Gjirokaster. We've had an amazing time and I truly recommend Maria and her lovely house.

Pues no sabría por dónde empezar, las vistas son realmente espectaculares (las mejores de gjirocaster), muy bien situado (aunque hay que andar un poco para llegar) y lo mejor de todo, l atención de María. Un amor de persona que nos acogió de maravilla. El desayuno estaba muy bueno... No tendría nada que objetar. Sin duda lo recomiendo muchísimo

Patio Rooms Gjirokaster, que tiene jardín, terraza y vistas a la montaña, está en Gjirokastra, a 45 km de Lago Zaravina. Hay vistas al jardín. It was a pleasant experience. The property is few minutes walk from the historic centre. If you are coming by bus, you will need to walk uphill to reach the property, but once you are there you will not have climb anymore to see the attractions in city. Owner was really helpful, gave the all the instructions on how to reach and what to see. We were served home made Albanian breakfast which was highlight of our stay. It was delicious and we enjoyed it in the backyard among fruit trees and plants. If you are looking for place to stay in Gjirokaster just choose this one. You will not regret :)

The owner helped us a lot, was super sweet and even made us amazing herbal tea :3 The view from the terrace is astonishing and I was absolutely mesmerized by it, that was one of the best breakfasts I ever had (food was also delicious!)

One of the best rooms we have ever booked! We liked it so much!! Very clean and beautiful room, perfect location (near to the center). The owners very friendly and the did the best for us. We ate also dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we ate delicious and traditional albanian food!! The breakfast was full!! Our room (double deluxe) had perfect view and was perfect decorated! 🥰
