I'm travelling by bus and the bus stop is 5km away from the Chalet. Martitia and her husband offered pick up on the arrival day and drop off on the departure day. Martitia is responsive and always makes sure I'm well taken care of. She also made a transport arrangement to Tsitsikamma NP at a reasonable price. Besides, she also shared the load shedding schedules on the days of my stay so that we are prepared for it. The chalet is big, private and quiet. It's just 5 mins walk from the tiny town center. Wifi is fast and stable. Everything exceeds my expectations!

We made a last minute booking just before the checkin time finishes at 8pm. The receptionist was very kind, she didnt mind the last minute appearance but even gave us an upgrade! The breakfast was filling and tasty. There is a hotel close by which has a cosy bar. We had a very pleasant stay all in all!

The lodge has a covered communal BBQ area and an outside kitchen and scullery. There is comfortable outside furniture in the lapa. Guests can enjoy free parking. There is a selection of adventure activities in the surrounding area and many hiking and walking trails for the more active guests.
