Our stay at Cliffhanger Cottages was incredible and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The attention to detail left us wanting for nothing and we were absolutely blown away by the views, visible from everywhere in the cottage, including the shower! The braii on the balcony & watching the sunset over the mountains are truly highlights of a wonderful trip on the garden route. Close enough to Knysna for shops etc. but distanced enough to fully immerse and hear nothing but nature. Some amazing hikes nearby with waterfalls and streams to bathe in during the summer months. I would like to thank the staff at forest edge, they were friendly, place was neat and clean. Breakfast was exceptional and they went out of our way to make pap for us really enjoyed that touch

We were thrilled by the artful attention to every aspect of the accommodation (inclusive of welcoming letter; flowers in the living area and bathroom; farm milk in the fridge; complimentary sherry; lindt chocolates on the bedsides) but far beyond all the personalised touches, was the location of our bungalow perched above a virgin afro-montayne forest with a zig-zag path descending to a mountain stream and a superbly crafted timber swing bridge. Our stay was pure romance.

Such an exceptional place. For a female solo traveler the team made sure i was well taken care off. It was nice or the host to invite the guests to the new year count down party. Beautiul place with great pizza.
