The B&B is on the main street of this charming and eccentric little Karoo town and is like a little oasis. The central location means it’s easy to walk to shops and restaurants at night and we felt perfectly safe wandering home at night. The B&B is a collection of little cottages scattered around the property, which is well spaced out and has two big swimming pools, which we found to be quite amazing for a boutique B&B. It gave us space and privacy. Our room was in a courtyard with an enormous old fig free providing shade and peace. The owners are excellent hosts and their Swiss attention to detail and cleanliness were faultless!

Had a wonderful two night stay at Onse Rus. The room was large and well-appointed, and the king size bed very comfortable. The garden is a tranquil haven, and it was a delight watching from the couches how all the birds came swooping in when feed was put out for them. Leonard was a most attentive host, and made bookings at two great restaurants, the Yellow House and the Rude Chef. He also prepared the tasty and large breakfasts, with home made bread and bacon.

The property is perfectly located in central Prince Albert. The rooms are spacious, meticulously clean, comfortable beds with electric blankets (very welcome on cold Karoo nights!), heated towel rails in the bathrooms. And we loved the special touches. A welcome homemade lemonade on arrival. Delicious breakfast in the beautiful garden. And a bag of homegrown lemons on departure. Wonderful hosts Colleen and William along with Charmin in the kitchen made us feel perfectly at home.

Absolutely beautiful property, so tranquil and beautiful. Petro and her husband were very helpful and the dogs on the property were gorgeous friendly, cuddly boys- loved them! Location is beautiful and the pool in the middle of the orchid was heaven! Thanks so much for the lovely stay, would have loved to stay longer!

Surpassed expectations. Very warm reception from Dee. Cottage well appointed and tastefully furnished to provide a very relaxing and tranquil space. Great to be able to use pool and a stones throw from Jeremy’s - a great restaurant.
