We were on a 22 days road trip over the Dec 2023 Jan 2024. We spent our Christmas at Sipreslaan. This place was amazing. The cottage was extremely well maintained. The vineyard and the mountains are breathtaking. I watched TV and Towerkop Mountain at the same time.

Great guesthouse in the middle of nature, with beautiful scenery. Eugene and Debby were very welcoming and helpful for our visits in the region. Would definitely recommend. Last but not least: burgers and breakfast were delicious!

This place was a highlight of my cruise along the garden route. A hidden gem! Everything was beautiful from the surroundings to the cottage to the breakfasts. Oakrest is off the beaten path but so worth the visit. I stayed in the Crimson Cottage which was comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was also stocked with everything you’d need for an easy carefree stay. There’s a hiking trail just outside and a lake for swimming around the corner. Oh! and the views are breathtaking. Superb!!!

Beautiful haven near Ladismith. Interesting foliage around stunning, well appointed, luxurious flats and a little original farmhouse. All with little pools. A lovely central area to enjoy a very nice dinner. Christianette was exceptionally helpful with a medical issue in our party, which could’ve been a disaster for our holiday, but she really saved the day with excellent advice & organisation

The owner was very friendly. Staying here was like stepping back in time. It had a very "Victorian" feel. Room & bathroom was very clean. Eating establishments were a walking distance away, for dinner. The breakfast was wonderful. Our room was air conditioned, but I could tell the other rooms had issues. It was like staying in a classical Victorian mansion. Historical. The furnishings & artwork were amazing!

It was really an old house with wooden floor, that means you hear everything when someone was walking in the house, but this was the Flair of the house. It was not disturbing. Alex our host made us a very nice breakfast, baaier lekker.
