We loved this place.Spectacular views from the spacious Sitting Room with a fabulous panorama of the ocean.We watched surfers and fisherman.Just 20 paces from the beach.A fully equipped kitchen for self catering and our hosts were charming.

Everything was amazing! Great value for money. We spent our honeymoon moon at the Ocean Bay Luxury Guesthouse, it was the best decision ever! From the staff, breakfast and accommodation, all were excellent and very professional. The room was clean, host Kirsten very helpful and the garden impeccable. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this guesthouse!

The staff were unbelievable. So friendly, warm and helpful. The room was gorgeous and clean and had everything we needed. The location was epic. To see the surf we didn’t have to go down to the beach… we could decide straight from our balcony if the surf was good enough to catch a wave or two! Unreal experience and will definitely stay at Shaloha again on our next trip to JBay!!

This guesthouse really exceeded my expectations; it is absolutely perfect for surfers. My room (number 4) was spacious and sunny, with ample room for bags, suitcases etc. I really enjoyed having a balcony: it had a drying rack for wetsuits and booties. The in-room coffee station was also a super nice feature. They serve amazing breakfast, prepared by wonderful chefs. The outdoor shower and board rack are also great. All in all, I had an amazing stay here! Thank you!

Location was great. Close to the beach! Convenient and walking distance to the shops and supermarket. Host was amazing and friendly. Loved watching sunrise at the beach each morning. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Myself and Daisy, my pup, loved staying at Droom Verlore for the weekend. We were welcomed by Naas and Elmarie with a smile and friendly informative breakdown of their lovely facilities. Extremely helpful hosts. Comfortable, private and beautifully equipped with amenities, dstv, all nessearry appliances and free Wifi. Thank you and we will definitely be back!
