The hotel is very conveniently located and it is very close to the beach. The owner Selchuk is a great local guide. He informs you about all the attractions. The breakfast they serve is also very good. The rooms are very large too.

After a month of traveling around Africa, this place was our home away from home for two weeks. For an affordable price, we got everything we needed and more. Juma, the receptionist, always greeted us with a smile on his face and was happy to assist with anything we needed in and outside of the hotel. Augustino, the manager, is practically a local and helped us plan our itinerary throughout our stay. Rooms were cleaned and tidied every morning, and laundry services and a restaurant were provided in the hotel. Pool was perfect temperature, and we could even swim at night thanks to beautiful pool lights. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Nungwi beach, and right next to the local "Cocobello" club. Miti is beautiful, quiet, and intimate, and we are already planning our next trip!

A TWO-COURSE BREAKFAST WITH PANCAKES WITH FRESH TROPICAL FRUIT, AND AS A SECOND COURSE YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF OMELETTES, EGGS, SAUSAGES, ETC., WILL FILL YOU WITH ENERGY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY AND YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO A GREAT DINNER OF FRESH FISH OR CHICKEN. IT'S A QUIET PLACE WHICH REALLY IMPRESSED US WITHOUT BEACHBOYS AND MASSAI TO HURRY YOU ON THE BEACH. IN THE NEARBY, YOU CAN VISIT BUSY PLACES AND SUBMERGE INTO THE MIX OF NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT, BUT THEN YOU RETURN TO AN OASIS OF CALM, WHERE YOU ONLY HEAR THE RHYTHMIC SOUND OF THE OCEAN, WHICH WILL SLEEP YOU BEAUTIFULLY. WE ARE IN ZANZIBAR FOR THE THIRD TIME AND WE ARE GLAD THIS ACCOMMODATION DOES NOT ALLOW SEX TOURISM. THE ADVANTAGE IS ALSO THE SWIMMING POOL WITH CLEAN WATER, WHICH YOU WILL ENJOY USING AT LOW TIDE TIME. IT'S A Pity THAT WE ONLY BOOKED 2 NIGHTS. WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY LONGER NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU.

One of the cleanest hotels and rooms in nungwi, youssef the owner is the best person ive met in all zanzibar. He helped us a lot and he really makes sure to insure our confort. Victor two is an amazing person. Really enjoyed my stay.

Everything was amazing, room was huge, a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach, restaurant very stylish with sand on the floor. I will only stay in this hotel in Zanzibar in the future.

amazing vibes, the owner is almost too nice in the things he will do for you to make sure you have a good stay. breakfast was one of the best I had in Tanzania. no AC, but the fans worked really well.

Ahh it been a while since we stayed at Carpe Diem Nungwi, but we miss this place so much! We stayed there for 12 days and enjoyed it a lot. Mr Haluk and his wife Nana were such accommodating and caring people, they definitely went the extra mile for us. Kids loved all the pets and the food was so delicious, especially grilled octopus! The bbq night was awesome as well, tasty food and the local band had our hearts that evening, they sang so good that I had tears in my eyes 🥹 the local staff working in the kitchen were always smiley and kind and did a great job. Haluk organised all the tours for us which was excelent. What more can I say… We left this place with heavy heart and we miss you guys! ❤️
