We really enjoyed our stay. We had the big room with two twin beds, air conditioning, and private bathroom in a very central location a short walk from the beach. There are stores and restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. But more important, Mustafa was a great host. He arranged for us to do laundry on-site for a small cost, handled a bothersome occupant, and even let us keep our bags in the room past check-out time so that we could do a Mnemba snorkeling trip. He is also a great supporter of his community, teaching in a local public school and doing community outreach in Kendwa. Service makes all of the difference and Mustafa made our stay special. We highly recommend Pumzika Kendwa Villa for your Kendwa stay!

Where to begin. The crazy man is the best host on the island. He made us feel welcome immediately, taking us to the beach and connecting us with locals to contact if we were ever in trouble. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. Toast with the choice of Nutella, jam, peanut butter etc. Eggs and followed by a fruit platter and smoothie. There was also a washing machine that was free of charge to use. The hostel had a cool vibe and crazy man was always around to help if needed, he even took us to the dala dala station. Overall a awesome place to stay

The staff is really kind and helpful. Rooms are really comfortable and the swimming is nice. If you would like to enjoy your stay in Nungwi is a good secret place.

Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The price of the night is so cheap comparing to others guesthouses . Wael was the most thoughtful, gracious host. He provided me with all the information i needed and showed me around. Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, Location is incredible.Nungwi main road so it’s near from everything. Wael had excellent recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make my journey comfortable and memorable. Thanks a lot Wael and wannas house for this wonderful stay . I will be back inshalah

Makofi is an amazing place to stay 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵 A perfect place for SOLO TRAVELLERS, but not only. I felt 200% safe there. I left my stuffs, phone money and other belongings on the table and always find them there. The staff is just awesome. They made my stay incredible. Thanks to everyone 🙏 You can ask them for any tips, they are so friendly and always willing to help. I really loved the Makofi design. This place has an amazing vibe. I stayed there for 9 nights and i felt already home. I arrived very early in the morning, they let me leave my stuffs there and chill on the nice swings until my check-in time. The place has a a very positive vibe, you can meet a lot of people there to chill or go out. The best burgers and pizza!!!!! Daily housekeeping. I highly recommend the Makofi guest house 🔝🔝🔝
