I loved my stay in this house and would definitely stay here again if I'd get the chance. Top ratings for their staff as they're very accommodating. I didn't need to see them to feel welcomed and tended to. They messaged every step of the way and always replied to messages when I initiated. The room was tidy, and the bed was so soft and comfortable that I rested well each night. It was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The location is near many food stalls, the train station, a grocery, and the venue for the event i flew over for. The free bottled waters saved me a ton since it's hot in thailand, and I need to make sure I'm hydrated for my whole stay. Excellent value for money, highly recommended! Thank you for such a great experience!

This is a very old house, the house is renovated, very humanistic features, and the boss's service is very good. I have lived here many times, very comfortable, looking forward to next time we meet

The hotel is down a lane way, so it is quiet but only 100mm from a busy little street with many food stalls and restaurants. 12 mins by taxi to Khao San Rd if you want the nightlife. Super friendly staff, very welcoming. I am staying again when I return to Bangkok.

..”what you see is what you get”..it’s a lot cheaper for a fan room. Overall, I had a nice experience at this place.

The Shanti Lodge is probably the most beautiful, friendly, relaxed and best located accommodation in Bangkok. I stayed here 30 years and to come back ( with my daughter ) and see Apishort and the girls' smiling faces and the place looking even more beautiful than ever was a joy. The fantastic restaurant on the ground floor is an oasis of tropical green with the sound of running water from the fish pond. It's brilliant being close to the Thewet river bus stop - and therefore a short hop down to The Grand Palace, Kao San Rd and many temples and other landmarks. It's simply the ONLY way to travel and a memorable experience in itself. The cool breeze off the river is a welcome break from the sweltering heat of the city. If you can afford it, book the penthouse. Best bathroom in Bangkok. The roof terrace garden is heavenly.
