Everything was superb, far beyond our expectations. Quiet location (well placed off the civilization a bit) with very nice view of the country, begging to be explored, also contributed. LbnL the hostess & the host were very sweet and helpful.

First of all, the staff in this place is wonderful and responsive, nice shop is nearby. The only request from the beginning was a clean air, free of nicotine smokes. I was promised that it is forbidden to smoke inside the pension (as it should be in any public place where people live and sleep). Despite this, till today many evenings someone spoiled my health with heavy smoking poison under my room, and it became so unbearable. But probably, after my request, you solved this problem (I hope), the air is much better now. This is the 1-st evening after a long time that finally I can breath.

I really recommend this hotel. The ladies on reception were really nice and helpful. Nice place to stay for a family weekend , with a clean rooms, tasty breakfast.

The accommodation is situated in the heart of Selmecbánya, just the right distance from the noisier entertainment spots. The building is an old and romantic structure, emanating the unique atmosphere of the city. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was so kind as to let us park our motorcycle in the private courtyard, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The room we stayed in wasn't large, but it was equipped with everything we needed, including a TV with numerous channels and even a minibar. The hotel also has a parking lot around the corner, which is quite an extra convenience as many hotels lack this, and you'd have to park in the outskirts of the city at night.
