The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The large sliding glass doors allowed for exceptional views looking over Velas and the surrounding mountains from every room. Breakfast was the typical buffet style. All in all This a great place to stay in São Jorge.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless and quiet, the host was kind and informative. At check-in, Ana gave me a very helpful introduction to Sao Jorge, even lending me hiking brochures and providing tips on the best sunset viewing spots. Cantinho do Piano is ideally located in the center of Velas. I had a very relaxing time here.

Everything. The manager was friendly and approachable. The bedrooms were comfortable, the shared spaces were more than adequate (having many bathrooms is a big plus).. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to supermarket, swimming, and several restaurants.

The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

Amazing view of the ocean and cliffs. Tables scattered throughout the property for a secluded breakfast surrounded by cool plants a flowers. Staff was soooo awesome. They heard we were leaving early and would miss breakfast and they packed us lunch baggies to eat in the road. Amazing place I hope to come back

Everything! We stayed in an apartment that was relatively new and well equipped. We really appreciated the fresh eggs we got every day (from their own chicken, as we were told), the homemade cookies and the fresh fruit. Locations is excellent, 5 minutes by car from the airport, several restaurants and a grocery store in the vicinity.
